Pet Bluegrass Care Navigators: two puppies running in the grassTherapy Pups
The sweet therapy pups at Bluegrass Care Navigators were finally given names, selected from the hundreds of suggestions submitted by supporters. The first is Grace, a female Golden Retriever and will serve Eastern Kentucky. Her name means “in favor or good will” and “to honor.” The second is Rosemary, a female Yellow Labrador. Her name means “remembrance.” Lastly is Sampson, a male Yellow Labrador. His name means “service” and “sun.”

The Lexington Humane Society is teaming up with Uptown Hounds for a Spookapoolooza on Saturday, October 19 beginning at 11 am. There are burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, face painting, silent auction, and more for the humans. For an extra cost, dogs are allowed to swim. Tickets benefit the animals at the Lexington Humane Society.
