St. Joe’s Maternity Education Programs

No one is more excited about Mother’s Day than a new mom, or expectant mom. Our neighborhood has a longtime source for accurate knowledge when it comes to stress relief surrounding childbirth and parenting a newborn at CHI St. Joseph East.

Attendees can also learn how to care for a newborn and learn how the body prepares for breastfeeding and how it works.

CHI Saint Joseph recommends that pregnancies be at approximately 20 weeks when scheduling the classes. Offerings include a 4-week series, 2-week series, weekend 4-hour child- birth education class: “Just the Facts, Mom!”, weekend childbirth education class, baby steps class, breastfeeding, infant CPR, sibling class, neonatal intensive care unit parent support, and women’s hospital tour sign up.
