All About Dads 2020

Father’s Day 2020 falls on Sunday, June 21. The holiday might look a little different this year, but this month is still all about dads.

SPEND TIME WITH DAD
It’s blueberry season! Evans Orchard and Cider Mill is open for in-person shopping and outdoor seating for their cafe along with curbside pick-up.

Father's DayEnjoy time with dad on a pedal boat. The boat dock at Jacobson Park reopened to the public in May. And what father wouldn’t enjoy a special day of fishing? Earlier this Spring, Jacobson Park was stocked with 3,000 rainbow trout. Thanks Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources!

You could also treat him to a much needed getaway with a hike and overnight stay in nature. Red River Gorge and Redbird Crest Trail reopened in May, while campgrounds reopen in June.

Book a tee time, now that golf courses and driving ranges are open. Nearby Greenbrier Country Club offers a scenic setting for members to escape and unwind.The Zoysiagrass fairways are expertly maintained in order to give members a golf experience unequaled in this area. Lakeside Golf Course alongside Richmond Road offers scenic public course options.

TREATS FOR DAD
Buffalo Trace Distillery will release their annual Weller Single Barrel starting in June. Bottled at 97 proof, it’s the latest addition in the storied Weller bourbon line and the limited offering is only released once per year.

CALENDAR CHANGES
The Bluegrass Mustang Club Dads and Grads Car Show for Saturday, June 13, 2020 has been canceled.

Pappy for your Pappy, scheduled for Friday, June 19th, has been canceled.

The Extreme Mustang Makeover Kentucky slated for June 25 through June 27 at Alltech Arena will now be held as a virtual event.
