Kenny Chesney’s actual tour bus will be out front of the Liquor Barn in Hamburg on Tuesday, April 2 at 4 pm. They are raffling off prizes and serving samples of the featured cocktail.

 

Thursday April 4

Lexington: horse raceKeeneland’s 2019 Spring Race Meet opens Thursday, April 4, and continues through Friday, April 26. No racing will be held on Mondays or Tuesdays, or Easter Sunday, April 21.

Opening Day for the Lexington Legends is Thursday, April 4 at 7:05 pm.

The Central Kentucky Home and Garden Show is April 5 through April 7 at the Lexington Convention Center

 

Saturday April 6

The 16th annual Cowboy Up for a Cure is Saturday, April 6 at 7 pm at Alltech Arena.

Join Housewarmings‘ Chef Shannen and ENO Plancha’s rep, Brad Clark, at Housewarmings on Saturday, April 6 from 12 pm until 2 pm to sample some tasty food hot off the Plancha and learn all about ENO Plancha’s Outdoor Cooking.

Friday April 12

My Favorite Things, in Hamburg on Old Rosebud Road (off Sir Barton, behind Forcht Bank), hosts their annual Spring Open House Friday, April 12 through Saturday, April 20. The Easter Bunny will make a visit on Saturday, April 13 at noon.

Kentucky Football Blue-White Spring Game is Friday, April 12 at 6 pm at Kroger Field.

Half Price Books in Hamburg Pavilion will host a tent sale April 12 thru April 14.

The Castle & Key Master Mixologist will join the Liquor Barn in the Hamburg location on Friday, April 12 from 4 pm until 7 pm. Sample custom crafted cocktails that use Castle & Key custom syrups and shrubs.

Abettor Brewing Company, a local craft beer company in Winchester, hosts their grand opening on Friday, April 12 starting at 11 am.

 

Saturday April 13

The Red Wagon Festival at Red Mile is Saturday, April 13 from noon to 9 pm.

Help expand Lexington’s urban forest and protect local waterways by planting native trees at Reforest the Bluegrass at Masterson Station Park on Saturday, April 13 from 9 am to 1 pm.

Wednesday April 24

Thursday April 25

The Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day event starts Thursday, April 25 and ends Sunday, April 28. Event is all day long at the Kentucky Horse Park.

 

Friday April 26

Meet Castle and Key’s Master Distiller, Marianne Eaves at Liquor Barn Hamburg, Friday, April 26th from 5-7pm. Marianne will also be signing bottles and a free tour of the renovated Castle & Key Distillery will be raffled.

 

Saturday April 27

The 20th Annual Maternity Fair, presented by the Women’s Hospital at Saint Joseph East, is Saturday, April 27 from 9 am to 12:30 pm. Enjoy demonstrations from maternity experts, and enter for a chance to win a FREE delivery at the Women’s Hospital at Saint Joseph East. The Maternity Fair is at Marriott Griffin Gate, 1800 Newtown Pike.

The 2019 I Know Expo will be held for the first time at the Lexington Senior Center at 195 Life Lane on Saturday, April 27, from 10 am to 3 pm. Dozens of vendors who know about aging well and coping with disabilities are on hand to share what they know by chatting one-on-one or through informative presentations.

The Living Arts & Science Center hosts H’Artful of Fun: A Garden Party on Saturday, April 27 from 7 to 11 pm. Enjoy Lexington’s best art auction, live and silent auctions, live music, dinner and spirits, and artful surprises.
