It’s time for pumpkins, costumes, Halloween and family-friendly festivals at the YMCA. Bring the kids out to the C.M. Gatton Beaumont YMCA, North Lexington Family YMCA or Whitaker Family YMCA locations on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 6 pm for a free event featuring face paintings, games and fitness activities, inflatables, fall crafts and more.

Join Indian Motorcycle of Lexington for their 2nd year of the Lexington Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Blue Licks State Park on Saturday, October 19 at 11 am.

Head to McConnell Springs for Little Goblins Galore, where kids 12 and under can wear their Halloween costume as they visit their favorite characters along an enchanted, wooded trail on Saturday, October 19 at 1 pm.

Tuesday October 22
Join 6th District Councilmember Angela Evans and Mayor Linda Gorton for a district update meeting at the Hamburg Library on Tuesday, October 22 at 6:30 pm.

Wednesday October 23
Mesmerizing performances by local hoop dancer, flow artist, partner acrobats, and aerialist. Face painting, balloon artist, and magical creatures await under the big top. Spend the evening with the family for Hamburg’s Night Circus on Wednesday, October 23 from 6 pm until 8 pm.

Friday October 25
Join the Hummel Planetarium in Richmond, KY for a Halloween Celebration on Friday, October 25. Event starts at 7 pm with Perfect Little Planet and followed by a star talk showing what is visible in the night sky. Lastly, the family will be able to paint their own pumpkin bucket with some out of this world colors.

Saturday October 26
The University of Kentucky Wildcats football host the Tigers from the University of Missouri on Saturday, October 26.

PetSuites in Hamburg invites pet parents, kids, and dogs to a Halloween Party on Saturday, October 26. From noon to 3 pm stop by for pumpkin decorating, goodie bags, and pups in costumes! (2057 Bryand Road)

Southern Barker is hosting a Pet Halloween Sidewalk Parade on Saturday, October 26. Meet at the store location at 1890 Star Shoot Parkway Suite 175 at 12 pm to begin the parade on Sir Barton Way.

The UK men’s basketball team will play their first Exhibition game of the season against Georgetown College on Sunday, October 27 at 5 pm in Rupp Arena.

The annual Lexington Halloween Festival & Thriller Parade is Sunday, October 27 at 6:30 pm.

Tuesday October 29
Trunk or Treat at The Lyric Theatre is happening on Tuesday, October 29 at 6:30 pm.

Lexington: a lot of pumpkins on stairsPumpkinMania 2019, where more than 500 jack-o’-lanterns are lit on the steps of historic Old Morrison at Transylvania University, is happening on Tuesday, October 29, at 7:30 pm. There will be food trucks and music starting at 5 pm, and then trick-or-treating from 6-7:30 pm.

Thursday November 7
