There have been a lot of potholes around the Hamburg in Lexington, KY area after the past few weeks’ inclement weather. A pothole nearby in 40509 on Richmond Road caused multiple vehicles to pop tires last Tuesday night.

Lexington city crews have been busy for months trying to keep Lexington roads clear of snow and ice. Now they are turning their attention to potholes. Potholes are often created by the freeze-then-thaw cycle of winter.

The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government provides multiple ways for residents to report potholes on a city-maintained street. You may call LexCall at 3-1-1 or 425-2255 and speak with a customer service representative. Office hours are 8 am – 6 pm, Monday–Friday. When calling, please be as specific as possible so our city crews can quickly find and repair the pothole. You can also utilize our online system and make a service request by clicking here.
